Old Sentiments

I've recently been having a HUGE TFA marathon ever since I got the complete series, and wow, the feelings I felt two years ago before my interests were pulled elsewhere are flooding back madly.

I missed these characters. It was like seeing old friends all over again, and as far as I'm concerned, I have. It makes me want to pick up my old interests again and get back with my old roleplay partners and bring my OCs back from the dead, and finally expand upon my persona. The issue is, perhaps everybody else has simply moved on. I feel a strong urge to reconnect with old times and old friends again, but this time, more experienced, with a better style, and less... well... immature.

I remember my first years in the fandom, and I was not a pretty sight. I was a robot-thirsty fool with nothing but eyes for senseless romance with characters that didn't exist, and whole-heartedly believed that it was all real.

Don't get me wrong, they were good times. It was like being reunited with the younger happier self I used to be. Still, being young in the TFA fandom was... rough. I recently took a trip down memory lane and read some old roleplays (and found many cringe-worthy on my part EW) and I cannot help but wonder how wonderful it would be if I were to engage the fandom again with a more mature brain and a heart set on the right things.

TL;DR: It's good to be back with TFA, and I'd love to get back with my original TFA buddies again.
